Today, I made my (now) traditional new rendering of my POWER OF 13 seasonal tree. I started this around ten years ago. The concept was triggered by Sol Lewitt’s ALL IFS ANDS OR BUTS CONNECTED BY GREEN LINES. I just used numbers instead and gave each digit a unique colour, an idea I have used elsewhere in: https://cddmgs.wordpress.com/2018/03/08/100-significant/ . Anyway, here is this years rendition , made using Procreate, on an iPad Mini 6, with an Apple Pencil:

Getting started with the idea of drawing my CONNECT series using a neurographic hand drawn aesthetic. A series I have named as NEUROCONNECT. These early outcomes were drawn on an iPad using an Apple Pencil and Procreate. Some tweaks may have been applied via the iPad version of Affinity Photo. I plan to do some real world drawing in a similar style of fluid mark making.
Enjoying available materials. Applying gesso with gusto is a ‘secret’ pleasure. The physicality inspires. Drawing with a paint marker, indeed a pen of any kind, is pure bliss. Peeling back the surface layer of the corrugated paper board reminded me of my year, as a sixteen year old, working in a (then) local paper board mill as an apprentice lab technician. Good memories!

So, there we have it, my Artweeks installation is complete. I had planned to post the summary views one per day, this week. But, I now have other things to do, and this forced my hand, so they are all here posted today. In addition, here is another view to summarise the summary. This one image overview is a boon for the lazy viewer! To finish, (I must say) this has been a very enjoyable project. A project where I have created many new outcomes and ideas for continued pursuit. Watch out for derivative outcomes as time passes by. My first complete virtual installation of 2022 can now be viewed via: artweeks . I will be using this REVAD CODEDIMAGES space for my ARTWEEKS 2022 portfolio in May. Between now and then, installations may come and go, without warning. Enjoy them while they exist. Everything is transient.
A fusion drawing series presented in book form with construction notes.
Outcomes from the SIXzz RYB exploration span both the virtual and real worlds, with pure digital outcomes and fusion outcomes. The fusion outcomes mix print and hand drawn marker pen. These outcomes are presented as three collections of five outcomes bound together with hand made construction notes.
A diptych of 12 x 16 inch Chromaluxe die sublimation prints, on aluminium. These should be presented in the same space, but not necessarily side-by-side. Here they are installed near a corner in the room. Opposite walls would make a visual connection across the room.
