Enjoying available materials. Applying gesso with gusto is a ‘secret’ pleasure. The physicality inspires. Drawing with a paint marker, indeed a pen of any kind, is pure bliss. Peeling back the surface layer of the corrugated paper board reminded me of my year, as a sixteen year old, working in a (then) local paper board mill as an apprentice lab technician. Good memories!

A double sided FREEDOM STREAM print is folded into a paper plane for REVAD’s contribution to the International Exhibition: OUT OF HOME – WINGS FOR FREEDOM. Opening: June 9, 2022, from 11 am to 8 pm. Three photo collages, recording outcomes from three Modernist Coin Wash events. Each coin wash was organised and run by the artists Lindall Pearce and Marion Piper at Angelika Studios (now Work Hall). They were very enjoyable creative experiences.
This touring exhibition visited four venues in 2013/14. The This ‘Me’ of Mine web gives full details. Three of my outcomes were exhibited. Two in the first three venues and three in the fourth venue.
